Integrating Clean Cooking into National Energy Access Planning knowledge brief launched by Sustainable Energy for All, MECS and Comillas Pontifical University

Date
16th October 2024

On 14 October 2024, a new report ‘Integrating Clean Cooking into National Energy Access Planning’ was launched, co-authored by Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), MECS and Comillas Pontifical University.

This Knowledge Brief aims to inform approaches to energy access planning in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) that simultaneously address access to electrification and clean cooking. It focuses on electric cooking, which is at the heart of this integration. The Knowledge Brief reviews relevant tools and methodologies for integrated energy access planning and gives an overview of policy, finance and knowledge initiatives that help create enabling conditions for these plans to be implemented and drive clean cooking transitions.
