In Tanzania, since July 2025, a mini TV series has been running as part of the national eCooking Awareness Campaign, Pika Smart. Implemented by Fern Marketing, and in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy, this TV series really delves into what an eCooking transition means to a normal household in Tanzania. Watch to see how Mama Halima and her family encounter eCooking, and their experiences exploring it – and what changes they notice!
Episode 1: A normal, busy morning in Mama Halima’s house – until she spots her neighbour having a far easier time than her. What is Mama Halima missing?
Episode 2: Inspired, Mama Halima embarks on her Pika Smart journey – but first, she needs to work out how to get her new Pika Smart appliance working.
