We are excited to announce the launch of a new tender for ‘Services to support the import and distribution of eCooking Appliances into Tanzania and develop a Sustainable Supply Chain’.
This is aimed at larger, more established organisations to provide working capital to organisations/businesses with interest, capability and know-how to import/distribute eCooking appliances in Tanzania. It seeks to support projects that will deliver a minimum of 2000 energy efficient electric cooking appliances into homes or through B2B from larger, or more established organisations registered to trade in Tanzania.
The tender is open to any suitably qualified organisation (or a consortium of organisations) from Tanzania or the East Africa Region. The source of funding for this work is overseas aid funding from the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Organisation – Tanzania. Preference will therefore be given to an organisation(s) from Tanzania. The total budget is not to exceed £200,000 and will be for a duration of one year, starting January 2025.
