Registration is open for the 5th edition of the EDP's Access to Energy Fund

Registration for the 5th edition of the Energias de Portugal (EDP)’s Access to Energy Fund is now open.

The 5th edition has an endowment of 1 million euros to invest in sustainable and clean energy projects, which helps to alleviate energy poverty on our planet. Organizations may apply for co-funding from 50.000 euros to 150.000 euros, covering up to 75% of the project costs of non-profit entities and up to 50% of the project costs of for-profit entities.

In this edition the Fund will support projects that are located in these countries:

• Kenya
• Malawi
• Mozambique
• Nigeria
• Rwanda

The Fund will focus on five major topics to which energy makes a key contribution: education, health, water and agriculture, business, and community.

The submission period goes from the 20^th of April 2023 until the 22^nd of May 2023.
