Developed in a collaboration between MECS and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD), this tender will address the training needs required to enable people already trained as or working as technicians in Uganda to offer repair and maintenance of eCooking appliances, including (but does not have to be limited to) air fryers, induction hobs, and electric pressure cookers.
We welcome both single organisation and consortium responses where one organisation takes responsibility for creating the materials and one, or several, consortium partners take the lead on the training.
The tender is open to any suitably qualified organisation from Uganda or the East Africa Region. The source of funding for this work is overseas aid funding from the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Organisation – Uganda. Preference will therefore be given to organisations with registered offices in Uganda.
A webinar about the opportunity will be held on Wednesday 11th September at 13:00 EAT (11:00 BST). We will provide a brief overview of the opportunity and there will be time for questions.
All documents are only available through the Delta esourcing portal.
To access the documents you need to register as a supplier. Registration is free and there is a step by step powerpoint guide on how to register below.
