The Clean Cooking Association of Kenya (CCAK) partnered with the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum (MoEP)  to host the 4th Clean Cooking Week (CCW) in Nakuru from October 24-26th 2023. The 2023 CCW featured vibrant discussion around a multi-fuel approach to the clean cooking challenge, centered around the theme “Toward Universal Access to Clean Cooking Solutions: Invest, Innovate, Involve & Transform.” This year’s CCW marked an important milestone towards the integration of the clean cooking and electrification sectors, with Kenya Power sponsoring the event and well over half of the exhibitors showcasing eCooking products and services. EED Advisory presented a sneak preview of the Kenya Cooking Transition Strategy (KCTS), which showed bioethanol, LPG and eCooking as the three key fuels/technologies that will enable the nation’s modern energy cooking transition.
