Harshit is a Research Associate in Community Energy Systems (CES) at STEER centre, Loughborough University. He is working jointly on Community Energy and Sustainable Energy Transitions in Ethiopia, Malawi and Mozambique (CESET) project and Modern Energy Cooking Services (MECS) programme. His research is focused on evaluating different ways in which CES projects contribute in building resilience while investigating new business models and smart monitoring mechanisms to accelerate clean cooking access in global south. Harshit has a transdisciplinary research background across engineering and social sciences. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and recently submitted his PhD thesis on Sustainable Energy Transitions in India.
