Louise has worked in international development for 12 years in a range of roles that have taken her all over the world. Having originally intended to specialise in renewable energies, experiences in Rwanda led her to become a water, sanitation and health (WASH) specialist. Seeking a change of sector and a new challenge she returned to Loughborough and joined the MECS team as Programme Manager. Louise is based at Loughborough University and holds a PhD in WASH.
