Susann is working on innovative finance and implementation strategies to enhance access to clean energy and modern cooking resources for the Global South as a Senior Research Associate in the MECS Finance Team. She works on the strategic direction and implementation of MECS strategy for scale-up and finance with a particular focus on financial markets, consumer finance, results based financing (RBF), innovation policy and technical assistance. She is also working on off-grid electrification with a specific focus on consumer finance and business models. Susann holds a PhD in Political Science from the Technical University of Dresden, Germany.
