Will is MECS Link Researcher for Uganda and a Research Associate at Gamos, working with partners in Uganda to accelerate the transition to modern energy cooking, and conducting data analysis at Gamos on cooking diaries and load profiles. Will holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol which focussed on enabling electric cooking in rural micro hydropower mini-grids in Nepal.
