We are delighted to share that the MECS team has made a significant contribution to the newly released ‘SDG7 Policy Briefs in Support of the UN High-Level Political Forum 2025’, published by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA). This flagship publication focuses on “Maximising the Benefits of Energy Action for Good Health, Gender Equality and Decent Work,” providing essential guidance to global policymakers on advancing energy for integrated SDG progress.
MECS colleagues Ed Brown, Yesmeen Khalifa, Rihab Khalid, Paula Griffiths, Malcolm Bricknell, Jose Ortega-Moreno and Richard Sieff have been acknowledged in the briefs for their valued contributions, underscoring MECS’ growing role in shaping international dialogue on sustainable and inclusive energy solutions.
