Recording of the Webinar: “Meeting the challenges of accessing carbon finance for modern energy cooking projects”

This webinar was held on 7th of March at 13.30 UK Time (GMT) and featured distinguished experts and representatives from various leading groups and organizations in the field.

The webinar was kicked off by Ed Brown, MECS Research Director introducing our presenter and panellists and and welcoming the attendees.

During the presentation Hilda Galt, from Climate Focus gave an overview of resources and key findings from the work that her team have been doing with MECS Programme on carbon finance and clean cooking.

The presentation was followed by a panel discussion moderated by Malcolm Bricknell of MECS programme; the panel included colleagues from ATEC, Bidhaa Sasa, Gold Standard, VERRA, and MicroEnergy Credits who shared their viewpoints on recent developments in accessing carbon finance for modern energy cooking projects.

The aim of the webinar was to assist project developers with the challenges of accessing carbon finance and to give them an insight into what to expect when seeking carbon finance.
